Internship Opportunities at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary

Animal care internships at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, are open to candidates seeking a career in animal welfare, as well as other candidates who have equivalent life and work experience. The minimum age to participate is 18. All interns must arrange for their own lodging and provide their own transportation during their internship.

Paid internship positions are offered in all six animal care areas; Bunny House, Cat World, Dogtown, Horse Haven (includes goats and pigs), Parrot Garden, and Wild Friends. Internship positions for 2024 have been filled. Please check back in the fall for information regarding the 2025 program!
