Saving kittens with SEAACA
Kittens are some of the most at-risk pets in shelters because they need round-the-clock care, which many shelters don't have the resources to provide.
The Southeast Area Animal Control Authority (SEAACA) neonatal kitten foster program is now being managed by SEAACA.
This program focuses on saving the lives of kittens by getting them out of shelters and into the homes of foster volunteers, where they can get the care they need to grow and thrive.
You can help create better lives for at-risk kittens when you email foster@seaaca.org to volunteer to foster.
Working together, we'll save more lives and create a happier and healthier community for both people and pets.
Foster: Open your heart and home
When you foster a kitten, you’re not only providing a safe and loving place for a homeless pet to learn and grow, you’re helping to make room in shelters.
Advocate: Create positive change
You have the power to create positive change for the animals in your community. Join a local 2025 Action Team or start your own today.
Members of the 2025 Action Team work to expand pet-friendly housing, provide resources for local community cats and kittens and their caregivers, make sure people can share their lives with any dog they choose regardless of breed, and more.
